Unfriendliest pub in Abergavenny. If you're not a local, or haven't been one for atleast 40 years, there's better, friendlier places to go. Sadly, they do have a nice pool table to use but it's honestly not worth the uncomfortable feeling the second you step inside.
Great pub. If you are a sports fan then it's number one in Abergavenny.
I played darts - away game- at the Somerset Arms. We all felt very welcome, good pint, friendly staff and customers, great little pub.
good all round local pub with great atmosphere and a warm welcome by all plenty of nooks and crannies for a relaxing drink lots going on give it a try you won't be disappointed ..
Excellent pub showing a range of different sports at any one time. Watched an England rugby game here (which could be difficult in Wales!). Very friendly owner and bar lady and good vibes 👍🏼
