Very quiet when we went in on a Monday evening. Normally busy at weekends but the fact that there is a lot of refurb going on around then is probably a good reason for the lack of footfall. Nice place though and great service

Matthew was amazing! Very welcoming and had a lovely smile. We were not an easy table to please but he certainly delivered on new years eve no less. Lots of appreciation for Matthew please xx

Whenever my friend and I go from brunch we always choose S&L Heron House, Albert Sq and again it didn't disappoint. Warren who waited on and served us had been amazing and hasn't left is wanting for anything. He's been on the ball and accommodating us and not leaving us without anything we have needed. Excellent customer service. Thank you for making our time here enjoyable.. not to also mention he seemed to be along waiting on everyone here but still managed to find the time for us and everyone else. A++

Gave food a 5 as we didn't eat and would have been unfair. The external area was a disgrace, lasses everywhere and you couldn't sit down if you wanted to as every table was just full of empties. Inside was pretty empty, tables sticky I actually cleaned ours myself. Service was slow despite the bar being empty inside. My cocktail wasn't shaken so was just layers of Syrups and alcohol. I had to stir it for ages to get it all mixed around the ice Young girls crying their eyes out in the toilets drunk. Yeah, I wouldn't go again that's for sure !

Brilliant place and great atmosphere. The staff were really friendly and coped well with the Christmas rush. We were amazed how quickly the food came out too. Lovely place and we would definitely recommend it to anyone.
