We carry a wide selection of local draft Ales and a small, carefully designed and eclectic wine list. Our menu of modern British and pub classics feature the best seasonal produce available at the time. We carry great pride in sourcing all our meat in the counties within the Marches.

Lovely hotel, all the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was nice. My only criticism was that our room (No.10) was in the attic with lovely exposed beams, but having to be careful not to hit our head whilst making a cup of tea or going to the wardrobe was a bit of a nuisance. It's not the best room for tall people. But overall, we would stay again, but in a different room.
An outstanding pub / restaurant in Ludlow. We visit for a meal every time we are in Ludlow and it never disappoints. The food is a cut above the normal and we've never had a less than delicious meal there. The staff and the service is exemplary. Well worth a visit if you're ever in the area.
Fantastic renovation while keeping the style fitting for a lovely English town. The hotel rooms are stunning (and highly recommend room 13, it's not unlucky, trust me). It's also on the more peaceful side of the town, combined with the gentle river flow, I don't think there is a more relaxing way to spend a night!
Food was magnificent. Excellent without being pretentious. Views over the river and weir beforehand. No attempt to add a service charge. We insisted on a tip. Prices no different to Surrey but the quality was so much greater. I will definitely return if visiting Ludlow again.
