1st time going here, celebrating our Daughter's 40th Birthday , we will definitely be going back , the slow cooked rib of beef were amazing , the meat literally just fell off the bone , beautifully cooked , the staff were lovely too
Meet and greet was very friendly. Bar staff very slow and served regular customers for drinks before anyone else who was waiting at the bar..The table that we was sat on was reserved for other diners for 6.30pm.The board that was put on out table with with this information on was put on our table at 4.30pm.From 4.45pm one of the waitresses came to us numerous times telling us that "we hadn't got much longer" and even asking are we ready for going. This was at 5.15pm.We hadn't even ordered our desserts!!! .Felt very rushed which spoiled, what would have been, a lovely afternoon.
Service, staff, food and atmosphere all brilliant. It was very easy to book online and everything went well , there were great vegan choices on the menu which was important to some of our group. I dont find anything that can be improved on, keep up the good work. We will return.
Been here every night this week as I’m working in St Helens. Always warmly welcomed and all the staff are lovely and the food is delicious and the wait times are short even when busy.
Just been round the Ship Inn for Sunday lunch. Fair play to Tracy and her team. Great service, decent food and beer too. 3 course Sunday roast for £14.99 each is a bargain, and the portions were generous too. Was chocker when we left at 4.15 so suggest you book in to save a wait. The cheesy garlic bread is amazing !
