Nice friendly pub in Sutton Village pool table juke box good choice of beer's.
Had my Dad's memorial do here as he was the landlord for 16 years in the 70s & 80s. Lovely family run pub. Great service, fantastic buffet, nice decor and the best loos I've ever seen! Michelle and her family/staff definitely went above & beyond expectations. Would recommend in a heart beat.
Had a private function here after my children's baptism and we honestly cannot fault the service. Michelle was really friendly and helpful from first contact and nothing was too much for herself or the staff. We used their own catering which was amazing. Every guest commented on the quality of the food and there was a huge variety of delicious items to choose from including cold meats, pastas and a chinese/Indian selection. We had around 45/50 people and there was plenty of space in the function room for more than this too. The staff were more than happy to decorate the room for us and we were even able to take items the day before to save rushing around on the actual day. If you're thinking of or looking for a room to hire then we definitely recommend. Thank you again - you really made our day so so much easier 😊
Fantastic bar, very dog friendly in fact they probably like our dogs more than us!haha 🤣. Very friendly bar staff,owners and customers include you too,it's not a clicky village bar by no means.We live in Spain and from the 1st time of calling in they welcomed us.A must visit bar for sure.All the doggy customers receive treats and bowls of water on reception lovely touch .
Dating back to the 1800s, mentioned in bulmers history and directory of east Yorkshire 1892. This traditional pub has had a Modern refurbished bright light clean, barrat show home look. Two pool tables, outdoor seating area and car park to rear. Friendly helpful staff even offered a taster when enquiring about one of the beers. A wide selection of beers and larger, sadly no cask conditioned real ales which for me is a deal braker. A nice pub opposite St James Church handy for that pre wedding drink.

The Duke of York in Sutton serves great food. Real ale and has just launched a new menu. Arrive as a customer leave as a friend.. Part of local life in Sutton Village.
