We tried to stay at the Best Western Weybridge and will not be staying here again. We were shown to our executive room which had a loud noise coming from the roof. We informed maintenance but they could not stop it and suggested we change rooms after a heated discussion with reception we eventually were offered another room which was not clean. We then decided to no longer stay here and asked for our money back, we were told it’s not possible and to speak to the head office when we spoke to Head Office we were told we have to email they had no in customer care. The general manager of the hotel called to say there is no way we’re having the money back. this is a disgrace. They took out money in good faith and gave us to 2 faulty and dirty bedrooms. It felt like they wanted to argue even though they sold us faulty rooms and we left. I have now read many online trip advisor reviews of this Weybridge hotel, and it appears the management are very argumentative and many people are complaining. I will never be staying at Best Western ever again.
Xmas day lunch, mass catering, acceptable, roast potatoes not the best, staff worked hard and pleasant , our party enjoyed the meal . Bar area a little tired, good location.Function room with bar would be good for private celebrations .
Went for a Christmas meal with my partner and her 93 year old mother. Reservation for 1:30pm. Starter served 45 minutes later! Had to harass staff to serve the starters because my partner 93 year mother needed to have food! At £70 a head the food wasn't worth the money. Overall very poor management . Would NEVER return to hotel or restaurant. Really spoilt Christmas dinner experience.
Have stayed there before on the first floor and loved it. This time we were on the second floor, the rooms were a bit tired and there were food trays with food on them from breakfast still outside the doors when we arrived in the evening, which is not what I would expect. The staff were excellent as always and will stay again if we can book the first floor.
Excellent location and good value. The room we had was a standard double and was like most other standard double rooms. Clean and modern, TV, kettle with tea, coffee and biscuits. The bed was excellent and one of the best I’ve slept in. The room was really hot but there was a fan which helped cool the room. There is a good size and attractive outside courtyard to sit, a bar with plenty of seating and a dining room. The hotel also has a few reception rooms for hire. This is our second stay, the first time there was a wedding reception, so the hotel is good enough a venue to hold these type of events. The noise fron the wedding guests could not be heard from our room so wasn't an issue. There is onsite parking although the spaces are a bit of a squeeze. No complaints and would stay again.
