The Scolt Head is a pub first and foremost and we serve excellent food but we aim to be a great community pub and continually try to put this at the centre of what we do. We show sport in the backroom, feed people in the restaurant and other areas of the pub, host live music, are the proud hosts of the weekly meeting of The Freedom Club and support as many charity ventures as we can.
So whether you are looking for food, swing dance, darts, a community group, jazz or somewhere to watch sport, please come and see us and try us out for yourselves.
The garden is a lovely spot for a beer….

The food was great. The labneh was delicious! Not many vegetarian options and no vegan options tough. Service was a bit pushy - both in taking our order and in asking us to pay right after we finished. The location and the mood are very cozy and typical, so overall I would recommend it if you're looking for a classic British atmosphere :)
I had the pork Sunday roast and a sticky toffee pudding for dessert. All in all, the roast was okay. Unfortunately, it's a little bland for my taste. A little salt and pepper helped a long way. What I couldn’t change was the temperature. Upon arrival, my plate was quite cold. I saw the steam coming from my food, so surely the food wouldn’t be cold. The meat and some veggies were warm, but the whole dish quickly became cold. The potatoes were cold and dry, too. I wholeheartedly recommend the sticky toffee pudding. It was very delicious and not too sweet. The plate and the dessert were pleasantly warm. The service was fantastic, all around a pleasant crew.
It was okay. The food was fairly good but found the staff somewhat surly. Looking through other reviews people say the service was friendly so maybe we caught them on a bad day? I found the pubs in the surrounding area more pleasant (the Talbot, the Duke of Wellington and De Beauvoir Arms). The beer garden is great on a sunny day with a group.
Came here for a Sunday roast. I had the vegetarian mushroom wellington and my partner had the lamb. We both enjoyed our meals and the overall vibe. The weather was really nice so we were able to comfortably eat in the garden. The sticky toffee pudding was also amazing. It's nice to find a good veg Sunday roast that isn't boring. I believe there was a vegan roast as well. Friendly staff as well and solid beer selection - even had multiple non-alcoholic beer options.
One of the best, if not the best actually, pub dinners I’ve had in London! The food was outstanding, super fresh with quality ingredients and a ‘classier’ spin on traditional pub food. The restaurant itself is cosy and welcoming and the staff really attentive. Couldn’t recommend more!
