Heard it was a good carvery, but I'm not a carvery fanatic. However I could and would be if I kept going here. Meats - good choice and generous ( I brought some home!), vegetable choice exceptional ( I had six) and all well cooked and hot. Only downside - service was a little slow, the waiter was run off his feet...... I/We'll be back and carvery & pudding for a tenner - a Christmas miracle.👌☃️🌲🎄☃️
It was a family meal, travelling from Gloucester and Shrewsbury we wanted a suitable venue and we weren’t disappointed! A Christmas meal and it was so tasty, the staff were great and we were made to feel really special. We were so impressed we have already decided we we will meet up again next Christmas 🎄
Food 2/5. Yorkies not cooked. Potatoes hard. Service took ages. Offered a free dessert for the long wait, was long waiting for that, so didn't end up getting it. Nice looking pub but won't be coming back
Went to a wedding here. Main course was the carvery which was excellent. Evening buffet was plentiful and full of variety. Service and bar staff very good. Made a good venue. The main room was beautifully decorated.
Stopped here after a long ride just as the kitchen was closing, but they stayed open a bit longer to get us fed before we started our journey back! The food was just right, and the chips were the best I've had in a long time! Thanks to Kez for cooking for us while you cooked your own dinner, and for the others for making us feel really welcome👌
