Copper Still is located right in the middle of Edinburgh’s historic Royal Mile between Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood Palace and is moments away from Edinburgh Castle, St Giles Cathedral and Parliament Square and where you can sit outside watching the buskers, so pay us a visit, we are easy to find and open daily from 9am till late.

What an absolute gem! We visited today and despite short staffing and a long delay on food the team could not have been more accommodating. We actually visited for cocktails and due to the food delay were invited back for the evening to find a table reserved for us and we received a complimentary meal. The food was delicious, the cocktails were phenomenal and we he staff were all amazing! Can not wait to return (we may go back tomorrow)
Great quality food, although had to wait around 30 minutes. Fish and chips was excellent as was the gourmet chicken burger. Lovely ambience with copper theme. Would recommend!
Lovely spot right on the Royal Mile. I had some time to kill and thought I’d stop by for a few beers and a few Whiskies. The staff were exceptionally friendly and offered exceptional customer service. As a Whisky enthusiast I was pleased to see a very extensive whisky menu and they were served in proper Glencairn nosing glasses for maximum enjoyment of the whisky. Prices were very reasonable also. I’ll definitely be back.
While this place might be a bit quieter than the bustling pubs nearby, it offered a delightful experience. Took a daring plunge into the world of Haggis (a concoction of sheep's heart, liver, and lungs) for the first time—quite an interesting flavor🤣 Other dishes were fairly standard, but the star of the show was the Highlander cocktail, featuring a Scottish gin base. 🏴🥃
The Highlander cocktail is one of the most delicious ones we tried! Don't hesitate to order it. It was my first time trying the Higgs and I loved it! It's made on a delicious potato base with a sauce on top that, when mixed, creates an excellent blend of flavors.
