Definitely surpassed my expectations with just of 2.1 Arms per patron, exceptional! Worth taking any arms here, the more the merrier. Superb advice from one of the locals - had some of the nicest local brandy here! ***Ask the barman for a “sneaky cheeky potty totty” and you’ll be sure to enjoy a free shot of their homemade brandy***

This has been our second visit this month and both times Courtney has served us. She's been very welcoming, friendly and amazing with seating us. The food is also amazing, delicious and filling.. 5* service from all the staff too.. Definitely be coming back again.

Service is always amazing! Food is always good! They did forget are drinks one time from the app but it was a busy day. Apart from that everything was amazing!! And I am love with yhe flavour shots

I wasn’t expecting much from this visit today. This just proves you shouldn’t just a book by it’s cover. Not saying there’s anything wrong with the pubs exterior, it just looks fine - ordinary roadside modern establishment. The big difference starts when you order your food. The prices are good. Not only that, but there are a huge amount of specials available depending on the given day. We visited on a Tuesday so I had a 15 ounce gammon steak with egg, pineapple, chips and tomato all for £7.50! And we are not talking rubbish food, my gammon was tender and sweet, not salty. The others I was with had equally good meals FO the same price under the Tuesday deal. The staff were friendly and courteous - came over and asked how our meal was going. You don’t often get that service in expensive places these days. A bug thankyou to the staff at the Rowden Arms!
