Very cool spot. Three of us, tourists from the the U.S., showed up and sat down at a booth. The regulars and staff welcomed us with open arms—we felt like part of the party from the very beginning. An evening very well spent. If you're in Slough, don't skip this pub, especially if it's a Friday night—they do karaoke every week.
Smashing little pub. It is larger inside than it appears from the outside. They sell real ale as well as other beers. The staff are nice and friendly. If you fancy a game of pool, there's a pool room out back. Two out door seating areas, one at the front and one at the rear. All in all it's worth a visit.
Working man's pub. Good beer, and as mentioned in other reviews - they don't take card, cash only
Great local old school and friendly pub. Unfortunately only cash payment. Anyway, highly recommended :)
This is a proper old fashioned pub, very friendly atmosphere, make sure you bring cash as they don't take cards.
