Rooms were OK. Air conditioning was a bonus and it had comfy beds. The 2 major problems were, 1. Shower head leaked badly and all the rubber was perished, so water came out in all directions. And 2. The sink water drained so slowly. It took half an hour to empty. Sometimes not at all. Overall I was happy with my stay and would recommend it. But the plumbing needs serious attention.
Had a meal here on a busy Sunday day afternoon. Building doesn't look much from outside, but inside is beautiful. Food was lovely, had to wait a while but that was OK as so busy. Staff were not as attentive as they could have been but were polite enough. Would definitely visit again.
Don't book if with children as they don't state you can't be in the restaurant after 9.30pm. There is also no parking, if ypu call they tell you there is however there is only 1 space for the pub. The staff are rude and ignore you. The rooms are back in the 60s and there are rats running around the floor. Fire doors get stuck and is a fire risk to the public, i will be reporting this as someone could die. Do not stay here, find another place. If I could give 0 stars I would
Lovely Pub in the Centre for brewmaking. Rooms were very small but comfortable with good shower and comfy beds. Location right by the riverside so there would be some good walks if the weather is fine and you have time. The Restaurant is Excellent and the staff are very friendly and attentive
Didn't use a room. My sister and I took our disabled mother here for lunch. Lovely atmosphere, we had no problem getting her inside (she has an extra wide wheelchair). Food was good and service too. Very happy and will be going back.
