Well worth a visit. A lovely old pub close to St James Square. It does get busy but there's an upstairs. Building work is taking place across the alley but it's not too intrusive. Lovely and interesting range of people in there on the last visit. Highly recommended!
Delightful old pub, unspoiled, real and lovely. Two young ladies working the bar were friendly and polite. Several wines by the glass and a couple of cask ales as well (Otter and Tribute). Two old fellows getting mashed at the bar added to the character of the place. It's a great pub.
Small wee pub, great service, good for a pint after work.
A hidden away but great to go to pub between Buckingham Palace and New Bond Street. I'd recommend giving it a stop if you even walk along the alleyway.
lovely little pub with really sweet old details feels like a theatre set in a really good way x

Small, friendly old-world down-to-earth pub in the heart of the galleries area of St James’s, with outside drinking areas at the front, in Masons Yard at the side and in the square at the back.
