Always a warm welcome and exceptional food - the fish and chips is always excellent quality, fresh and rich - but the curry, burgers and pies are always excellent. Highly recommended for a classic pub lunch.

Amazing food, beautiful country pub, old building, real fires, lots of interesting elements to the decor, lovely staff and attentive service - sometimes a bit slow on a Sunday, simply because they are so busy. They work their socks off and do whatever they can to accommodate people’s needs. Sunday roast is fantastic!
The Red Lion first visit and what a lovely time we had. Friendly staff...warm and inviting atmosphere. Lovely Garden area if it is warm enough to sit out. All the food is excellent and mouth watering. Would recommend a visit you will not be disappointed..
We visited today as it was my Dads Birthday and my parents have never been here before. Lovely waitress who was very welcoming and friendly. The food is lovely and fresh and the portion size was very generous which is always great when hungry. Definitely worth a visit if you are around the Vale.
