The Red Hart pub, a former 17th century coaching inn in the picturesque village of Blyth, five miles from Worksop and just off the A1 so very easy to find, attracts customers from far and wide.
Having fallen in love with the inn’s rustic charm, husband and wife team Paul and Gill sympathetically renovated it in 2004 retaining many original features.
The Red Hart is now a focal point for locals and boasts some of the best chefs in the area including owner Paul, who has been featured in Lancashire life magazine for his culinary expertise. The mouth-watering menu is littered with wonderful dishes ranging from hand-battered fish to lobster thermidor.
This cozy, stunning pub has retained it’s traditional tap room where customers can enjoy a pint of delicious real ale. With anything up to four guest beers which are regularly changed, you are spoilt for choice. Such are Paul and Gill’s passion for serving great ale that the Red Hart have consistently featured in the Camra good beer guide since 2004.
The beer garden has recently been recently refurbished and is perfect for al fresco dining on those balmy summer evenings. There is also a private car park to the rear of the property.

4 of us enjoyed a lovely evening here. Starters and main course were spot on. My vegetarian partner who is very picky really enjoyed both of her dishes. We will definitely be returning.
Very cold when we arrived but food was lovely and very reasonable we had travelled from Huddersfield to meet someone.thank you 😀
we arrived 1:30pn on saturday for late lunch. the place was almost empty. we orderd small fish and chips, burger, steak pie and mixed grill. the meals were tasty. fishes were fresh and the burger was juicy. there was plenty meat in steak pie. the mixed grill was good. one small thing that needed to be improved, was the chips that needed to be crispy.
We didn’t stay here but had a lovely home cooked meal staff were amazing Thankyou
Lovely pub in the centre of the village. We had chicken and mushroom pie with mash and mushy peas and an all day breakfast. Served lovely and hot - can't fault it! Well be back 🙂
