Good Afternoon to everyone,
We are hoping you are all well and keeping safe. A few of us have been in the club making things as secure as we can whilst the club is closed to try and ensure there wont be too many issues when we look to open again in the future.
YOU MAY SEE IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS THAT WINDOWS ARE DOORS WILL BE BOARDED UP PROVIDING WE CAN GET THE SUPPLIES DUE TO MOST BUSINESSES CLOSING DOWN. THIS MEASURE OF BOARDING UP IS ONLY BEING DONE ON THE ADVICE OF OUR INSURER AND IS TO FURTHER SECURE THE BUILDING IT DOES NOT MEAN THE CLUB IS CLOSED FOREVER AS WE ARE LOOKING TO OPEN AS SOON AS RESTRICTIONS ARE LIFTED BY THE GOVERNMENT.
Most importantly we wanted to reach out to all of you especially to the members that are now isolated in there homes as further restrictions are implemented by the government. Please do take the government advice and STAY AT HOME and only go out if you really need to.
If any member is having difficulty with anything like food supplies etc please let us know via this email address. I know not all members are on the email list but if all people who are can help by maybe calling a member/members just to see if they are OK and if they need anything please email us on there behalf letting us know what there needs are and we will see what we can do for them. We have had a few people volunteer to assist our members should they require it so please do email us we are here to help where we can. IF ANYONE ELSE IS AVAILABLE TO ASSIST IF NEEDED PLEASE LET US KNOW VIA THE EMAIL.
Just that small regular phone call to another member that is isolated may help them just having someone to speak too we have a great network of members out there to look after and communicate with each other. Together we will get through this if we all look after each other PLEASE FOLLOW THE ADVICE GIVEN BY THE GOVERNMENT IT IS VERY IMPORTANT. If you do know members and have a contact number for them please call them dont rely on other members calling them as it is likely no one will call.
We are hoping you all stay safe and well and hope this crisis comes to an end soon and we can get the club open again maybe we can plan an opening party to relieve the stresses of being in lock down for so long.
