This traditional village inn offers a warm welcome to all. Originally the stable block to the 17th century hall, the Ramblewood Inn incorporates a public bar with woodburning stove, snug seating and a large, airy conservatory.
Conveniently located, just 2½ miles from Peterborough city centre and close to the popular Nene Park and Ferry Meadows, you will find ample free parking, easy access, a fine choice of food and drink and free High speed internet access.
Originally part of the Marquesses’ of Huntly Estate in the conservation village of Orton Longueville, the adjacent BEST WESTERN PLUS Orton Hall Hotel & Spa, rated Four Star by the AA, provides a quiet retreat amongst private parkland. The fantastic spa and swimming pool is open daily to residents and non-residents for one-off treatments or a pamper day for you and friends.
Nice atmosphere. Great service from the waiter. As I'm a vegan. He went all out for me.. very impressed
Food was horrendous. Pictured is a £17 burger and chips. The bun was stale and the meat gristly and grey. The starter wasn’t much better.
Been here many times. The food is perfect and the staff are friendly and very good at their job. It has a warm welcoming feeling and I definitely recommend this place as a go too for food, drinks and a wonderful atmosphere ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Brilliant and attentive bar staff! Layout is perfect for having a variety of atmospheres. Had a meal here, and although the food was good, I discovered that it came from a main kitchen in the main building. It was uncovered on its path and lukewarm when it arrived. Otherwise, it's an excellent pub for pub grub!
Lovely place to take the family for a pint and food any time of day. The pub / restaurant is part of a hotel spa setting. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is very nice although expensive compared to other venues in the area however quality is higher here. The only grumble which effects the 5 stars is the carpet in the restaurant which is in desperate need of replacement resulting in the experience of eating not being pleasant. The pub itself would be a lovely place to sit and eat on a cold winters day.
