A very friendly local pub. Note it is cash only. Meals are Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday evenings.
Great food and landlord Bert is top class, attentive and knows his malts, with a great selection. If you are after a proper unspoilt old Devon pub The Railway hits the spot everytime
Friendly landlord who is keen to discuss the history of the pub, if you ask him about it. Lots of interesting photos. Great food & a fantastic range of cask ales. They only accept cash though, so please check before purchasing anything.
Great welcome friendly landlord and staff. Food was fabulous and good value. Super cask ale. One point to note when we were there (May 2023) it was cash only - no cards, so check if likely to be a problem.
