My family live in different parts of the country from Newcastle to Worcestershire and anywhere in between .. We decided to meet in the middle ...Yorkshire , The Thack responded they could host our Christmas family gathering.17 adults 3 toddlers. We had an amazing time ...We had the Christmas menu ....lots of choice the food was delicious ,the service was amazing , Adam & Yogi hosted brilliantly ...would definitely recommend visiting this place . We will be back next year ..thank you all .
Really impressed with their Sunday dinner. It might be a quid or two more than you find in other pubs but it's absolutely worth every penny. Every aspect of the dinner was excellent, including quality meat, good Yorkshire pudding and roasties, portion sizes were good and they brought out extra gravy and cauliflower cheese. Staff were lovely and accommodating too. GO AND VISIT!
Wonderfully hospitable and really appreciate your help the other evening whilst I was out walking. If only more people were as welcoming and generous. It’s important that we support local businesses, especially those run by warm and friendly publicans.
A very nice old pub but with modern feel. Traditional British place. Beer choice was excellent, friendly atmosphere. Didn't eat but menu was good. Would revisit.
Traditional pub with lots of options of drinks. The food is outstanding! Had the steak salad with chips and would highly recommend this. Perfectly cooked steak, home made chip and the salad was very tasty with a lovely dressing. The best I've eaten us a very long time. The new landlords are extremely friendly and welcoming as we're all the staff. Highly recommended.
