Met friends for a reunion over 2 nights, staff very friendly chatty and helpful, xmas dinner evening meal was absolutely lovely,as is the breakfast at a good value, very good products, and plenty of choice. Location spot on. Definitely worth booking, we won't be looking anywhere else now we stayed here.

Fabulous food and brilliant service. Shout out to a great chef and lovely front of house team. The sea bass was so well cooked with crispy skin. We also enjoyed the Harrisa chicken, the burger and the steak. So much so, that we opted for puddings that didn't disappoint. I was wary ordering the vegan chocolate tart but it oozed like a chocolate fondant with the right amount of pastry and icecream. Yummy. The piece of salted caramel cheesecake was huge but was so light in texture it went down a great. Next time we pass through Salisbury we will return so I can try the other vegetarian options. Dog friendly pub that is a cut above the rest. Highly recommended.

This is a great pub and hotel to visit! It's a short walk from bus stops and about 15 minutes walk from train station! We stayed here as well, the room was lovely and had everything we needed in it! It was quiet too! The food is lovely, we had a meal and the breakfast which is all freshly cooked!! We have also booked again!!

I have eaten and slept here. Food is good at lunchtime and breakfast is worthwhile. Great location if staying. The room I had was decent and well appointed, good sized bathroom, but it was dusty in places, the fan in the bathroom, perhaps being out of easy reach, was covered. Just pockets of heavy dust in the harder to reach areas. Nice idea with the exposed brickwork, but wasn't sure if there were some small patches of mold. The room is reasonably quiet given its proximity to the road, thankfully no kitchen or extractor fan noise. Qudos bar is good for lunchtime bites and has some decent ales on tap. Sometimes the sports are on. Generally a quieter place during the day, again exposed brick work with a modern looking bar with a mixture of higher tables and stalls with tables and chairs.

Great hotel, with first class service from every single person I spoke to. Last minute booking for a Sunday night, but they promptly messaged to warn me about last check-in time so I was able to alter my plans to avert problems. Happily accommodated me showing up on a bike and found me somewhere reassuringly secure to leave it overnight. My room was a touch small, but the price reflected that, so no issue. Well appointed with many USB sockets (not enough hotels have this in 2023, so much appreciated!). Breakfast was good and plentiful. Would happily stay again.
