As well as a great selection of high quality local ales, beers and refreshments we have food menus to make your mouth water - including the unique Black Rock grill and many more traditional snacks and meals. There is high quality entertainment frequently throughout the year and a warm welcome every day of the week.
We have en–suite bed & breakfast accommodation available overlooking the river. It's a great base to visit some of the nearby attractions, such as Monkey World, Corfe Castle, Swanage Steam Railway, Wareham Forest, Wareham Castle and Studland Beach to name just a few.
Bought the Groupon deal £38 for 2 people, 2 courses and a glass of wine each, we had 3 surf and turfs and 3 ribeyes and the service was great and the food was delicious!! There was 6 of us and the staff were super attentive and friendly and helpful!
We were very pleased to find, that at 3.15pm on a Friday, after a long cold walk, the Quay was still serving food and had the fires going. We were equally happy with the food, the beer, the prices and the service. We did not actually try the rooms, but I am positive they would be worth 5 stars. All very good.
Good honest pub food, good beer, good staff and lovely location. The food is ok pub food, not wow, but I enjoy eating here. It’s lovely to sit out the back in the tented area on a hot evening. Staff always helpful.
Had the Sunday lunch. Beef. It was delicious. Everything perfectly cooked. Service was really nice too, didn't rush us at all which I really appreciated given we were there to have a relaxing lunch. Beers were also very nice. Looking forward to coming back again.
Great food, great service. Even though the pub had a Christmas party booked, they still managed to get us a table and as usual delivered top food with excellent service. thank you team.
