This bar sits directly beneath the Town Hall itself but is a completely separate entity. Decorated in mock Tudor style its many rooms have been opened out around the central bar but it retains the atmosphere of a rambling multi-roomed pub.

The Hildyard Arms is a free house, with no ties to a pubco or brewery, which has been owned by the Hildyard family of Colburn for over three hundred years. It is run by The Richmond Brewery Company.

Large pub with an opened out interior, now the only pub in the village centre. No beer garden but tables outside the front and quoits pitch to one side. Bunk barn a few doors up the road caters for Coast to Coast walkers.
