What a fab pub!! Friendly,great live bands,lively atmosphere and fun/quirky decor.Comfy seating and room to boogie if that's your thing.If we lived in Tod we would definitely be regulars,will just have to visit more often!!Recommend to visitors and locals for a fun /friendly night out 🙂

Monday Club, band on stage, music good, beer enjoyable, great atmosphere for Monday afternoon, look forward to next visit, but slightly cooler weather next time !

Quirky pub. Central location near the railway station. Cash only. Fortunately cash machines across the road. Live music. Good selection of alcoholic beverages. Also has rooms above the pub if you want to stop over £60 per night

Stopped at the polished knob for a couple of days and was well looked after. We arrived on a Monday afternoon and was welcomed by a rock band that was playing until 5.30.There is live music every Monday afternoon. . The pub itself resembles a Hard Rock cafe with musical instruments hanging from every wall. The coloured seating looked fab just like an American diner,very impressive. The stage itself dominates the pub and is well used throughout the weekend. My bed room was at the front of the building and was very comfortable with a new wet room cum ensuite but I must admit I do prefer a good old fashion shower. Once the room is wet it's wet and the shower was a bit hit and miss. Had a great night sleep UNTIL about 5 when I think the whole town drove passed my room, very noisey road plus every Wednesday the local market sets up. Its all great to watch from your bedroom window. The staff and punters are all very friendly and welcoming and it's a great experience but nxt time I'll have a room at the rear of the hotel. ..
