One of the pubs wall is actually the second oldest wall in the village (the pub and the adjoining garage offices are Grade 2 listed buildings).
On the door step to beautiful countryside we are at the starting point for walk number 1 of the Walking with Offa series, and is also close to the route of walk number 14.
We have a secure, shelter beer garden the the rear of the pub and beautiful setting out the front looking over the brook.

A great traditional village pub serving very good quality cask ale. Locals are friendly and I popped in for 1 maybe 2 and ended up having a few more of the excellent Shropshire Gold in a lovely friendly atmosphere.
Always a friendly welcome and excellent real ales.
