We were visiting Yethlom for a couple of days and we had our lunch and coffee at the Plough. The place is very cozy and the food is delicious. The ladies there are really friendly. Yeah, also my friend really enjoyed Stanley’s company.
For Locals only, no welcome for Outsiders, Unfriendly place. Go to Kirk Yetholm, the Border Hotel, just a few minutes away by car, far better, they are welcoming, nice atmosphere, great food and lovely wood fire.

Didn’t stay so can’t review rooms. Used the bar wonderful atmosphere. They staff are witty and funny and really easy to talk to. I met about five sdifferent staff among two actual persons but all where just wonderful. Cheree was very witty and fun. Beer gives good head that keeps on giving after you’ve sipped it. Rarely give five stars but very happy to have visited. Thank you, from Newcastle.
I enjoyed a cappuccino and my husband had beer, both excellent and served by a really pleasant and helpful member of staff. Enjoyed these simple pleasures so much that we will make a point of going back for lunch or dinner.
