Car park at rear (be sure to enter your reg plate in the terminal at the bar to avoid fines). Attended funeral wake here. Food not ready at appointed time but coffee/tea served in interim. Nice buffet when it was ready. Rustic atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating.
Usually eat here twice a month minimum but lately the sunday dinners for us seem to be going downhill. Twice we have had to send the beef back as it was fatty, this time it was fatty, very chewy and difficult to cut. I'm not sure if they have changed meat providers or maybe we have been unlucky but we were disappointed to say the least. Vegetables though were cooked to perfection as were the roast potatoes. (though not a lot given) Gravy excellent as always. The staff are lovely and helpful but the incessant "do you need more drinks?" could be cut back especially when our glasses are half full still. Sorry it sounds like a moan but I think if they tweaked things a bit more it would be a perfect place. We will still visit but maybe give the roast beef a miss for a while.
We visited Pied Bull on a very busy Sunday Tea Time, despite this the service was great, we didn't wait long for food, which was delicious and hot, with a good selection of vegetarian/vegan meals. There is ample parking at the back of the pub and the staff are all polite and friendly. We will definitely be returning.
Had Sunday lunch, party of nine. Everything was superb, food, service& atmosphere. The staff very friendly and all went that extra mile no just for our table, but everybody else's table too. This is going to be our new hang out for eating out. Highly recommend to everybody. Well done and thank you to Michael & All the team.
Lovely place for a nice Sunday roast! Wonderful service and and delicious food. Pet friendly as well and they also do a Sunday roast for your furry friend. Luna gives it a 10/10 as well!
