My only complaint was the cost of a pint of larger. Nearly £7 a pint that is a lot of money for a pint. The best part was the food as it was lush.The atmosphere of the place was great and the staff were excellent thankyou very much. I wish to stand corrected about the cost of a pint I got the wrong pub I apologise to the pilot for my mistake it was the pub next to the travelodge sorry if I've cost you any inconvenience.
We held my Dad's 70th birthday party in the function room, it was brilliant. The staff were attentive and couldn't do enough for us. Wouldn't hesitate to use again and would recommend to anyone looking for a space (with a bar) to hold any event! Brilliant.
Lovely pub friendly staff , always something going on , Sunday lunches are extremely good
I used to live on bowerhill many years ago when it was called the pickled pilot. It has been updated a lot since those days. Very friendly atmosphere , extensive selection of drinks & food to order too. Staff are very friendly & efficient.
Busy but service was polite and quick. Staff were attentive Tables were cleared quickly after guests had left and the loos were clean. Spot on friendly pub. 👌 Can't comment on food as we didn't order anything.
