A vibrant, trendy bar close to the Millennium Stadium, Pica Pica is a hot spot for after-work drinks & pre/post-match festivities, with swish modern surrounds & sharp, friendly service adding to the unbuttoned atmosphere
There’s a respectable selection of mostly European wines & beers on draught (Heineken, Amstel & Moretti), plus popular bottled brews including San Miguel, Hoegaarden & Bulmer’s cider; also check out the lengthy cocktail list with its familiar run through martinis, margaritas, caipirinhas, Moscow mules & other classic mixes. If you’re hungry, the kitchen can rustle up an appealing selection of tapas & mezze, with choices ranging from patatas bravas & vegetable tagine to Spanish-style chicken croquetas & salt-cod fishcakes with aïoli. Set lunches (2 courses for £7.90) run until 6pm.
Lovely restaurant with excellent service! The tapas were delicious and generous portion sizing! A great drinks menu as well. Definetle be back!
Sobresaliente! Lovely tapas at a fair price for Cardiff. Love the sangria and layout of the place muy español 🇪🇸 🍹
Lovely place with amazing staff and absolutely delicious food! If you like Spanish tapas, this is a great place to get the classics and a few of the originals with a twist.
Nice tapas restaurant opposite the Principality Stadium. Small menu but tapas is well prepared and presented. Staff professional and decent atmosphere.
First time I visited Bar 44 and I was bowled over by how good it was. A huge selection of drinks including good quality wine and soft drinks. The food was simply superb. A standout was patatas bravas, which as a kind of simple dish, I’d hard to make special but they pulled it off! As a seafood lover, the gambas were also a highlight.
