My wife and myself visited the phoenix for the first time this week , the atmosphere in there was good music was not to loud , ordered meal at bar then waited twenty minutes no meal !! Had a word with one of the bar staff and explained time we had been waiting she apologised and went into kitchen,almost immediately returned with our order , I'm sorry to say the meal was not very hot and the chips looked like they had been cooked more than once. Brad was very welcoming & helpful with helping me to understand the Mixr app. He was very professional & represented the venue brilliantly. Excellent service which I feel should be recognised.
Always clean and bright. Great friendly service and beers Had a few meals there...is way way better than spoons in quality AND value. Plus in a great central location where you can watch the world go bye. Best pub in central tamworth
Genuinely never been so disregarded as a customer in my life. When there are 7 people in the pub, 3 of which were myself, my husband and our friend, and the "manager" decides to kick us out because I was singing along to the artist they hired for entertainment. If you don't want to entertain your guests, I suggest you stop hiring entertainment. Disgusted and would never return. Coming from a woman who has sang in pubs and clubs for many years, this was a joke.
Great cask ales and great food too. It may take a while for your meal to be served but it is worth the wait. There are many lagers and ales to try while waiting. You will not be disappointed.
