About us

Our food is all prepared fresh in our kitchen by our new team of chefs and has been carefully selected for The Phoenix. We have our own in-house smoker which we have used to smoke our meat with Hickory wood which creates a really unique flavour. We also serve many other pub classics.

We have a great selection of award winning ales from Twickenham Brewery as well as some great wines, gins etc. Our large beer garden backs onto the River Thames and our outdoor bar serves throughout the summer.

We appreciate The Phoenix has had a colourful past but we assure you it has risen out of the ashes as a friendly pub with great food!.

Myself and daughter popped in for a drink or two pre Christmas drinkypoos and immediately smelled the mulled wine which (for some reason) a must in the festivities. Soooo glad we did it was a real treat , not being an authority in the mulled wine industry I can't compare but suffice to say we ended up having to walk home and left the car in one of the convenient carparks opposite.

After my sisters wedding, around 30 of us came here for the after reception drinks. They were expecting us, and we had the lovely back garden that backs onto the river. The bar hosts an outside bar and heated area. Although i was just pinching some of my sisters' food, It was lovely tapas! The drinks selection is very good, even boasting properly made cocktails. The team are friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Although I dont live in the area, I genuinely hope to go back there soon. I highly recommend it.

We fancied tapas and our usual venue was booked solid at lunch time. A quick Google search for tapas found the Phoenix, plus it was by the river. They don't take bookings but upon arrival we found several suitable tables outside. The tapas menu was limited but what we ordered was very tasty, they had one of my favourite tapas; shallow fried chorizo in olive oil. If eating outside, you order and pay for food and drink at the outside bar.
