I will keep this review plain, simple and honest. Myself and my wife went for a midweek dinner recently. The venue is very clean and well laid out, the service was very good the food delicious and the bill very reasonable. We have no hesitation in recommeding this pub to others and will be returning in the future.

Great food, excellent service, friendly. Made us feel very welcome. Same chef for 15 years, so consistently good. Good selection of ales and beers too.
Food was very well prepared and presented and good value too. I would definitely go there again and I enquired about the Christmas menu to return next month. Small criticism over the service as two of the three drinks ordered not correct and taking orders was a slow. But this was possibly down to being a busy Sunday and the background noise of a packed pub. I certainly wouldn't let this put me off with good food averaging around 11 quid a meal.
Yesterday we were in the party made for Ukrainian guests by Richard and other generous people! It was amazing! Service in a high level! All staff members were wearing the branded T-shirts produced especially for this event as a kindness English people for Ukrainians! Trampolines, bowling, lottery, singer! Thanks a lot from bottom of our hearts! You did a great job!!
