The former games room has been extended to create a new dining area, with home-cooked lunches and evening meals available. Booking for Sunday lunch is advised. There is a comfortable, open drinking area with TVs showing sports, with a large patio and children’s play area outside.

Impeccable and stylish interior (and impeccably clean), we were immediately and warmly welcomed. Our lunch was delicious and so were our hot drinks. One thing that stood put was that all the table mayo and ketchup bottles are labeled with the date they were opened. As someone who has a food safety certificate, I know there is a proper way food should be handled and this was the first time I’ve ever seen an eating establishment actually put food standards agency standards into practice to such a high level. We will definitely add The Pheasant to our restaurant rotation as our experience was just so favourable. Well done!
Very enjoyable Sunday lunch, which came out quick and hot. Plenty of food too. We opted for Roast Beef, but have eaten here many times and enjoy the service, food and atmosphere. All washed down with some wine and beer :)

The food was much better than expected, came in a timely fashion with smiles on the servers faces. It was super busy and we had to wait over the booked time for our table. This wasn't the fault of the pub and they kept us up to date with what was happening. Overall a great experience.
Lovely Father's Day visit, great food and service as always! (The burger was requested 'naked' and the fish & chips requested without peas).
