Visited the Patternmakers for the fist time on Saturday and it most definitely will not be our last. The renovation has been tastefully carried out to a high standard, keeping a traditional bar area but adding a modern tastful restaurant. The food was excellent, cooked and presented to a high standard with lovely fresh ingredients. Service was also very good with friendly and efficient staff. A really great little restaurant and an asset to Duffield, well worth a visit. The bar area is lovely to have a drink before going through for your meal. Thanks to all the staff for a very pleasant and enjoyable evening.
Dined here today as a guest at a birthday lunch for around 50 people, and couldn’t have come away happier. The three-course meal we had was exceptional, especially considering the large number of meals being prepared for our party. The staff were friendly, attentive and always on-hand. The design and decor was spectacular. Really couldn’t fault a thing and looking forward to returning for an evening meal.
This restaurant is fantastic, the food is beautifully presented, and the taste is wonderful. I had a turkey lunch today, the best I have ever had, l normally find turkey very dry, believe me this wasn't. I have actually booked again for next week and l can't wait. Beautiful place and wonderful staff. Thank you. See you all next week
What a fantastic place. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. Every course was outstanding. Don’t take the front of the pub at face value. As soon as you walk in the beautifully tiled floor in the bar area shines bright and the experience begins. Give it a try and treat yourselves.
We had a lovely dinner at Pattenmakers. Every single dish, from starters to desserts, has been absolutely amazing. Fresh ingredients, well balanced and designed tastes, and all cooked to perfection. We couldn’t be happier. Our fav was the Pan fried halibut with caviar and lobster bisque, but honestly everything else was just as wonderful. Service was very good too - very attentive and friendly. :) The price might not be the cheapest but for the quality and standard it has, it’s well worth it in our opinion. We will definitely come back again! Highly recommended.
