Nice pub with pool table and dart board, games machines jukebox. snack available at bar, food for stone baked pizza oven food van just outside side can be eaten in pub.
The last remaining proper 'pub' in Ruthin! Always a great atmosphere and the locals are always friendly xx

Situated on the wrong side of a busy intersection unless you live in Ruthin's Northwest quarter, The Park Place, also called The "Parkie", is one of Ruthin's "locals" pubs which makes no pretence about serving its patrons with an amply stocked bar, TV sports, beer garden, and the amenities one expects for a locals pub. The Park Place probably saw better days when Ruthin enjoyed its railway, and this large building perhaps suffers for the corresponding level of maintenance. The Parkie is unfortunately one of the last of a happier era when several pubs in Ruthin collectively attracted the recreationally minded, and the Park Place survives while the Anchor, The Eagles, and others have closed doors or realigned their business model to cater for a more gourmet profile.
