I took my wife here for our anniversary. The hotel is in a great location with fantastic views overlooking the seafront. Sadly the rooms were a bit dirty and the hotel itself is in need of an upgrade.
Didn't have the best of rooms facing the car park. The car park no longer has a deal with the hotel. So expect to pay £20 for over 7hrs. This info is not on their website. Room was clean but the carpets are a mess. It was OK for stop over while going to the cliffs pavilion. There are other hotels nearby but for alot more money. Gets what you pay for..
Shared a room with me kids we diffo found something that my kids thought was some sort of infestation 🪳 we found like this twice. I have stayed here before a few years ago but this was different. There was a lot less staff then the last time i here and more poeple at hotel then the last time. Its seemed like the hotel was housing the homeless from the local area as well as refugees from the current migrants crisis at the hotel. We have no issues with helping those less fortunate then us, but just make the situation clearer for so us, so we can make an informed decision. I ACTUALLY would went ahead regardless. BUT THIS FEELS LIKE VENTURE CAPITALISM GONE MAD because these venture capitalist who own this Hotel are getting from the government, the Local authority and little old me😄
A very good hotel. We had a good time. We booked a sea view room. We could enjoy the beautiful sea view and the picturesque view of Adventure park. There are certian things which need improvement. 1. The balcony was not clean. 2. Some renovations needed, pariticualy carperts. 3. AC was not working properly. We had to request fans but after some pleading only we got them. 4. Breakfast menu needs to include more hot food, salads and fruits.
Family weekend visit. Customer service was great, and nothing was too difficult. Advisors were very polite, friendly, and accommodating. Thank you to the young black girl (apologies, I forgot her name but think it begins with D) Requested a disabled room so had lots of space and wet room. Was able to check out at 1 pm. It wasn't too busy at that time of the day yet. Breakfast is not included, but you can request this. Choices of continental and full as well as fruit and yoghurt, etc. You can request fried or poached eggs. Very central to shops and amusements. The car park was across the road as they didn't have their own. It is quite costly and convenient but has no concessions for disabled parking, which is a shame. Signed up to their loyalty card for discounts. I would recommend this hotel on the hill and air con in the room.
