The meal was absolutely lovely and could not fault a single thing,service was good as well. Didn't wait long for our meal.
Went just before Christmas for lunch.. the menu is brilliant.. European and Indian choices and the food was amazing as well as the pricing.. The service was friendly ..really good.. its cosy and lovely decor... will definitely be back again. Have recommended to family and friends.
Recently taken over , so local bar as before, but now separate Indian restaurant. Very good cooking, friendly staff. Rooms are very comfortable, spacious, very clean, great value all round, just off Motorway
Came in for food before a local event. Service from staff was good, polite and friendly. Food was not nice at all, macaroni watery and flavourless, steak pie gravy just pure water, although my son said the meat was OK, mash potatoes runny and lumpy, not sure how this is possible....and the pizza most definitely wasn't fresh nor stonebaked. The food was edible as we were hungry, but not enjoyable. The waitress did ask how it was and offered to change our food which we declined as didn't see the point, we already had 3 simple dishes that weren't good. Wouldn't return and wouldn't recommend unfortunately.
The place is pretty basic and so are the rooms. The parking lot is located at the back of the hotel and it’s free. The check-in process is pretty straightforward and the staff that checked us in its pretty friendly. The room is clean, but there are a lot of stains from birds poo outside of our window. The location of the hotel is not central so it is imperative for you to drive there. There are no shops nearby. The rooms are in the next building from the pub.
