This place could be great given it's Riverside location but it's average. Decent enough out door seating, selection of beers is a bit lagging behind though which was made worse by the fact that 2 of our first choices were unavailable or 'not working quite right'. It's a reasonable stop off though if you are walking from the armouries / Leeds dock area and stopping off for one before the train station.
Oracle Bar and Club has been around for years. It used to be a local bar when I lived in the city centre. The food shown in the image below was provided by a caterer for a private event and in this case wasn't too bad, it wasn't amazing either. Unfortunately food from the oracle itself is actually quite bland and nothing special and the music isn't my bag either but that's more to do with taste and the lack there of. Its redeeming feature is its riverside location, ideal for a beer on a nice summers day. Drinks and service are generally ok
Really lovely afternoon,good atmosphere,DJ playing,nice drinks
Good out of the way location. Friendly staff. Nice layout. Not the biggest bar downstairs. Doormen on the ball during evening. Not too expensive for bottled beers. Pint of Guinness was £5 though ! No real ales. Nightclub upstairs.
Drinks are poured through narrowed chambers or poured quickly as they clearly expect patrons to not notice (what a disgrace!!) Which was measured against a demanded single measure. Whoever owns this place is a con artist. Staff do not give a damn about the place, no wonder it's dead of a weekend and other places within 20 feet are busy. Such a shame, could be a fantastic place, location is amazing and decor is cool but really if you come here you are being ripped off!! There is a weights and measures act for a reason, disgusting.
