A great looking pub in the heart of London. We offer a warm welcome to all - local workers, residents, tourists..and dogs! Along with our warm welcome comes fantastic beer and a fantastic British menu. At the One Tun you will never go thirsty; with six fantastic ales, a large selection of craft beer and a wide choice of wine.
We love our goals, try’s, runs and match points and as a result show lots of sport; from the drama of the Premier League to the grit of the 6 Nations. We also have a good old fashioned dart board and occasional live music just to jazz it up a little too.
Good experience. My sisters sandwich was a touch cold. Otherwise good. Server (had a beard) was friendly and polite.
Please avoid this pub if you want to watch live sports. We went to see the Toulouse v Liverpool game on Thursday 9th November, kick-off 5.45pm, based on recommendations we'd seen. Although the game was showing on the TVs in the pub, the TV speakers didn't work, and loud music was playing instead. The pub was also rammed with punters who'd just finished work, so it was very noisy and trying to watch the game was a complete disaster as we were the only people interested in it. The food we had was standard pub fare - burger and fish and chips - and it wasn't very good; the burger was tough and the fish tasteless. The pub shouldn't show football games, or put itself out as a sports venue, if the majority of its clientele are simply there to drink, especially in the early evening.
Didn't eat here but friendly atmosphere, helpful staff, great choice of beers and all the sport on pub's screens; on top of spotlessly clean made for very welcome visit and one that I wouldn't hesitate to repeat very soon;
Good Service, reasonable range if drinks although mostly independent breweries larger and ales. No good for just turning up without a reservation. Had to leave due to no tables available. It was expensive but expected for a central London location. Average £7.50 per pint.
A most adorable little pub on Goodge street. Good selection of beers both keg and a couple of casks on. A wide selection of gins also on the go. Screens showing the sports. Lovely staff, a great place to be, no worries! Pop in and enjoy a relaxing drink. There are also tables outside for Goodge street fresh air. A great pub to visit.
