Excellent characterful wedding venue located in the beautiful village of Hurley, in Berkshire. Couples can exchange vows in the Malt House, or the 16th-century Tithe Barn, where the low light will push your photographer's camera to its limit. On the plus side, it has a great atmosphere. As well as the venue itself, there are other pretty locations for photos either in the village or a short stroll away by the river. Lots of parking onsite and having a days celebration all at a single location is a big plus for guests. Perfect venue for a relaxed or intimate wedding celebration.

The rooms at The Olde Bell are a perfect blend of traditional and contemporary design. The period features, such as exposed beams and antique furnishings, provide a sense of history, while the modern comforts ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay. The attention to detail in the room decor did not go unnoticed, and the plush bedding guaranteed a restful night's sleep. Upon entering, I was immediately struck by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff at The Olde Bell are exceptional - friendly, attentive, and eager to make your stay memorable. From the moment I checked in, I felt like a valued guest, and their genuine hospitality added an extra layer of enjoyment to my visit. Thank you Mr. Dominic Ashley for the hospitality. One of the highlights of my stay was dining at The Olde Bell's restaurant. The menu featured a delightful selection of dishes made from locally sourced ingredients. The culinary expertise was evident in every bite, and the charming ambiance of the restaurant made the dining experience truly special. Breakfast, included with the stay, was a delicious affair, setting a positive tone for each day.

The Olde Bell's ambiance is unmatched. The carefully preserved architecture and tasteful decor seamlessly blend the old-world charm with modern amenities. The rooms are beautifully appointed, striking the perfect balance between comfort and tradition. The attention to detail in the interior design reflects a deep commitment to maintaining the historical integrity of the building. The staff at The Olde Bell are exceptional, especially Loretta Fernandes. Their warm welcome and genuine hospitality made me feel like an honoured guest. Every member of the team was attentive, courteous, and went above and beyond to ensure a delightful stay. Whether it was recommending local attractions or addressing any requests promptly, their professionalism and friendliness were remarkable.

We came for Christmas Day lunch with our little pooch and had such a beautiful time. All the staff are so welcoming and hospitable. Compliments to the chef, the four course Christmas Day lunch was so delicious. The portions were the perfect size. And we were able to have a beautiful vegan Christmas dinner with the dog by our sides too in the bar area. The atmosphere was lovely as there were other dog friends having Christmas in the bar too. Thank you everyone for making Christmas so brilliant. It was our second time being here for Christmas. Looking forward to a third in the future.

Excellent service, big room, basic, but everything that I needed was there. Big parking, good bed, quiet surroundings, good shower and powerful hairdryer, good breakfast. For dinner I ordered fish&chips and that wasn't to my taste.. the rest was fine
