I stayed here in early October 2023, as we were visiting family in the area. We were able to check in quickly and easily, and the service was excellent and friendly. Our room was somewhat small, but we knew that before we checked in. I'm quite tall, so found the bed to be small, but I find that almost everywhere! The room was very clean and obviously well looked after. The bathroom was awesome! We spent a couple of weeks in the UK, at a few different places. It was so refreshing (pun intended) to see the shower here. It was very modern, very spacious, and the showerhead was excellent. Honestly, after a the previous week of tiny showers and poor water pressure, I can't tell you how happy I was to experience this! We had the included breakfast in our package, and it was perfect. I love a full English breakfast, and this was very well done. Again, service was excellent. Ample parking, clean rooms, quiet, excellent service. Cannot complain at all. Would come back for sure.
Rooms are clean , basic but to be fair for the money it's good value as it includes a breakfast. Service was really nice and welcoming. The location is out from anywhere but you can get a good meal and a pint so not sure you would need to go anywhere really.
My husband and I went in to get some food. A lady was behind the bar and she told me that they did food all day. The lady gave us a warm and friendly welcome. We had a look at the menu then we ordered some food, which was absolutely delicious. We also ordered desert and again that was delicious too.
The room is simple and clean. It’s nice for a short stay. We had a really good dinner in the pub and really nice breakfast. The staffs are really nice and try to make you feel comfortable. Anyway there were so many bugs as I went during summer so bring some repellents.
Lovely cool bar to sit and eat in on a baking hot day and dog friendly too. Really good selection of food served all day at very reasonable prices and cheerful service. Food took a while but was obviously freshly cooked and piping hot. Good location too on the main road. Would have been 5 stars but they had no sauce for the sticky toffee pudding so I had to go with treacle pudding instead.
