About us

WELCOME TO THE OLD SWAN INN

The traditional pub bar, with its roaring fire and oak beams, sit together within the 12th Century architecture of this local boozer. The sociable beer garden is open all year round and we’ve increased the seating capacity in anticipation of our customers who we think will prefer to drink and eat outside, whilst restrictions are in place.

A blackboard menu offers traditional pub food as well as daily specials, whilst the bar serves an impressive selection of local guest ales from a variety of brewers. The Old Swan Inn is the hub of the local community. A dining room area offers a 40 seater relaxed, comfortable environment, complete with cosy wood burner to welcome drinkers and diners alike.

The Swan’s kitchen is closed 2.30-5pm Monday to Friday. We’re open fully at the weekends with last orders for food on Sunday at 5pm.

Our favourite pub! Never had anything but an exceptionally fab meal, great choice of drinks and the staff are the nicest you'll find. The regulars are always friendly, the fire is cozy and you can book into the restaurant at the back for big family meals if you don't want to eat in the bar. Always recommended.

Lovely Sunday lunch, got a table for 4 at short notice with the dogs. Great service, great food. The beef was tender and tasty, the vegan nut roast was reportedly very good also. All accompaniments were excellent. 👍🏽👍🏽

Christmas Day. The goose was tough and cold. If you can't cook it don't put it on the menu. The manager couldn't clear the plates of uneaten food and had to tell "the girls" to do it. Bit sexist! We sat there with the bad meals in front of us for 15 minutes. Bad management and bad food. Happy Christmas 🤮

Made a reservation for 4 people 2 weeks in advance for 2.30 pm As soon as we walked in I could tell by the face of the barman it wasn’t going to be straight forward especially when he said he’d go and see his manager He came back to tell us the kitchen closes at 2.30 pm WHY TAKE A BOOKING FOR 2.30pm ? professionally you would speak to your staff, explain there’s a mistake on the booking and look after the customers already booked in and deal with time owing etc to your staff after In this day and age you would think people couldn’t afford to turn the trade away …… The manager didn’t even come out and told the barman to tell us the kitchen closes at 2.30 pm Definitely won’t return especially after travelling from Llanelli and spoiling our day bridal shopping with my daughter After speaking to the manager eventually over the phone he did say he rang on the morning of the reservation, clearly I didn’t get the message on time It’s a shame he didn’t make the effort to cancel the booking sooner rather than on the morning of reservation Extremely disappointing

Stopped off for a quick lunch and was delighted to see that the Swan Inn was open. A lovely little pub with a nice choice of menu. Our lunch was outstanding and the customer service was spot on. Family highly recommends the goat cheese starters and the beef burger, and my cheese and chutney baguette was divine. It was rainy, so unfortunately, we couldn't take advantage of the sizeable beer garden. Covid 19 regulation was fully complied with and we felt extremely comfortable. Definitely a place we will visit again soon.
