Very friendly pub, we popped in during the day as a stop over on the way to Upper Scotland, we were greeted by very friendly staff, and even given a complimentary whiskey from the distillery nearby as a welcome to Scotland! Nice atmosphere, good food, nice atmosphere and staff.
Lovely food & dog friendly stop just off M6 We needed somewhere to stop for tea instead of the services whilst travelling home from Edinburgh 3.5 hours so we chose to pull off here, the food was 10/10 they just make smaller versions of adults food for the kids which I absolutely loved. The service was amazing our little boy got given a Christmas pack from under the tree that kept him entertained until our food came. We got 2 adults, a child’s meal & two drinks which came to about £40 which I think is a good price to start but the food quality was amazing! They are dog friendly as well if you’re travelling with dogs. Would go here again if ever up that way!
stayed here for two nights a couple of weeks ago on a mini motorcycle trip before the crazy weather hit the UK. massive car park no issues with security of my bike as it was surrounded by motorhomes.. food was fantastic for both breakfast and evening meal. Richard and his staff are fabulous.. highly recommended will definitely stay again next year..
Stayed in our motorhome on the carpark. A proper pub, great well looked after beer, very friendly locals, fabulous food and staff. We'll definitely be back. Thank you
We have visited a few times but last night was our first stay. The room was lovely and comfortable and the staff very friendly and welcoming. The pub itself was busy with a fantastic atmosphere. The food was simple bar food , all absolutely lovely. Having been disappointed by the larger impersonal hotel chains it was so lovely to get what we paid for and a great night out too. Thankyou very much
