Excellent pub grub and great value for money. Restaurant is called Costello's. Feels more family friendly now compared to previous visits.
We went here for lunch just after 12 noon. The service was great and we took advantage of the lunchtime deal which was good value. I had bacon and cheese burger with chips which was delicious. The place looked very clean and the staff were lovely.
Lovely place. Food was delicious and well priced. Service was excellent. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Nothing was too much bother. Really enjoyed my meal as did all the family. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend. Marion.x
A nice pub in a historic building. There's a good selection of draft beers and bottled drinks. Staff were friendly and also helpful when we were looking to book a taxi home. The kitchen was closed but there is usually food in here. Shows sports (Premier League football was on). Plenty of places to sit including an outside area.
Decent prices on pints (3£ each) with a great selection of beers on tap. They serve small plates of your classic "drunk food" like cheesy bread and chips, where you can pick 3 items for £10. The building is massive with a family for upstairs and a pub/bar on the lower level. The food isn't great, but it levels out with nice staff and a beautiful, cosy bar interior.
