Not good - noisy, dated, issues with smell
Appalling. I have called her to let her know the issues of the place on holiday cottages and she took the listing down. The rubbish bins are right next to the main door. Smells really bad. Boiler leaked the whole week, owner keeping our deposit as she said we did not comply to covid 19 regulations. We had to clean the chapel on arrival, we even got a hoover to clean it even though we alreadynhave paid for the cleaning services. Please see all the pics and reply from owner.
There was rubbish next to the entrance which smelled terrible and travelled inside. We payed a cleaning fee and according to the owner it took 5 hours to clean, the pictures say otherwise. When we entered the whole house smelled, it was dusty and when we checked the beds there was spiders and the mattress and mattress cover was stained as seen in pictures. This resulted in us washing and cleaning the day we got there and having to purchase a hoover as we could not stand how dirty the house was. The plates were not cleaned which again resulted us washing everything before we used it. The boiler also leaked the whole 7 days we were there and kept turning off which meant we had to wait for the water to get hot before we could have a shower. We also got a complaint because the kids were playing in the garden midday and were told they were "being too loud". The owner has also held our deposit as "apparently" we did not go with covid rules and had a party. She knew it was a big family of 9, how could we not make noise we also knew that at night we had to keep the noise down which we did. The worst experience i've had and she also hasn't responded to any of our emails which means she's ignoring us and not facing the truth.
