Very friendly b&b with nice breakfast. Breakfast room has sea view! Bedroom was a bit pokey but otherwise excellent. Just down some steps to the beach, amusements, fish and chips. Lots of pubs close by. Recommended.
Joanne and her staff are great , nothing is too much trouble. My only gripe is that she is always booked up which is great for her but for those of us that want to stay in her comfy B+B and enjoy a great breakfast have to try our best to get a room.
We have just come back from a 4 night stay from this lovely historic guest house. It's well located for the beach and shops in a quiet side street. We were welcomed by Joanne who gave us a "tour" which immediately made us feel at home, something which more hoteliers could learn from. Our room (5) was a spacious family room with ensuite and a Seaview, it was spotlessly clean and was serviced each day. The breakfasts were great with plenty of choice of both hot and cold dishes, the hot breakfast was cooked to order and were very tasty. There's a fab view of the beach from the breakfast room too. An added bonus was we could take a takeaway meal in and use the breakfast room for this, there was also a microwave and a fridge for us to use as well. There was parking on site with CCTV and free wifi. All the staff were friendly and effecient and are a credit to Joanne. All in all we were very impressed with the house and would definitely recommend to our family and friends.
This Guest house is unique. No doubt about it. Joanne who owns andruns it is an absolute star. All her customers. And that includes me absolutely love her. I know that sounds soppy. But everybody returns year after year.
love this place Jo and staff are great easy to get on with, views from here are great right round the bay, breakfasts really set you up for the day. Very reasonably priced and welcoming
