Young, unprofessional staff. Barely looked at or acknowledged on entrance and didn't bother to say anything about only accepting cash, until after ordered and pint half poured. Didn't offer any explanation or apology and just scoffed and eye rolled and ignored and continued conversation with young friend at the bar
Good selection of beers. Good pricing and friendly service. It was a bit loud and lively for me, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
When in Easingwold I always call in here for a drink. My family used to run the pub back in the 60's and it always makes me think about those who aren't here any more. Always great service and a smile from the barstaff.
Sometimes in life you need a good pub, serving good beer a screen to watch the football good grub and the added benefit of been dog friendly. The Angel ticks everyone of these boxes. It was exactly what we were looking for and it did not disappoint. Superb little place.
A very friendly pub, staff very good, lovely real ale, tried the Bitter and Twisted.. excellent... chip's, huge basket, delicious
