Friendly little back street pub. Made my family very welcome. I had a great pint of Timothy Taylor Landlord. If I had stayed longer, I would have had a Rebellion Red too. It's a locals pub, comfortable, good service, well kept ales and we were made welcome, despite having a very small child with us. It's worth trying if you're nearby. I shall certainly visit again when I'm in the area.

Cracking little boozer! Full of friendly characters and great drinks. The landlady's certainly know their stuff! A must for the weary traveller or visiting foreigners. "This is quite simply the truest example of an English Pub" the vibe is always pleasant and warm. I'd left some tobacco behind, by accident on my first visit with a friend and the next time my friend went in there - 4 weeks after they gave it to my friend to give to me! Truly genuine people, bravo North Star 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
A proper local boozer, exactly what you want from a local pub. Very warm welcome, all the patrons were kind and helpful, happy and up for a bit of a crack. Good beer and a great feel to the place. I will be back!
Absolutely brilliant little local pub. It’s tiny, but great atmosphere. The locals are nice and the landlady is brilliant. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area. It has two small bars, dart board, billiards and a juke box too. You’d be hard pushed to find all that in one pub these days. Plus the beer was bang on, not like a lot of places I’ve been too.
