Hi Members, Supporters and Guests, You will already know that we are reopening although with significant restrictions on numbers, distancing, cleaning and music. Our starting hours are just that. We have no idea of demand and our hours are a guess.
We will want to extend our hours and re-open any facilities initially closed at the earliest opportunity. We will adjust hours and restart Bingo, Concerts etc as soon as permitted and will seek to put on the very best shows we can.
For those who purchased advance tickets for the Mick Miller Show we intend to re-arrange at the first available date. Should members be unable to attend on the Evening we will refund the ticket money or return it as a drinks credit whichever the member decides.
Finally I should mention that we have secured a grant of £43,347 to refurbish the Path’s around the Bowling Green and the surrounds of the Green itself, and to provide a system of saving and storing Rainwater for use on the Green. All of the preliminary steps are complete and we expect the work to start with the work for the Water recycling element of the Project on the 1st of July.
I am sure that all of our members have had enough of sheltering, but Covid 19 remains very much in our minds and we ask you to follow the guidelines and the measures we are putting into place to keep everyone safe
