We stayed at the campsite which was lovely and quiet and the most beautiful location. We ate in the pub which was fine good size portions, they were short staffed on the day we went, it was super hot and lots of passing trade so we waited a little time but it was no problem. We will go again it's a lovely spot great for walking along the river into Reedham village to look at the boats.
A beautiful old pub on the side of the broads, plenty of seating inside and outside, a campsite also on the other side of the pub, the oldest chain ferry takes vehicles across the broad, the service was excellent and very friendly, we both had fish and chips, I think the fish was frozen and defrosted as the flakes were breaking into small pieces, the batter was undercooked in some places
Great atmosphere, friendly professional team. Booze and great food. What’s not to like. Massive waterside seating area with passing boats and the last surviving chain ferry in the country. Cheers
This is a great little camp site. Truly peaceful with lovely views and dog walks. The facilities were great with a large, very clean toilet and shower block. The pub has a very friendly atmosphere and the food is fantastic. We are already planning our next mini break.
Great rest stop and welcome hostelry, right by the river. (Closed on Mon and Tues). After refreshment some great walks along the banks of the river, with views across the reeds to the horizon. We stayed at the touring site, with high quality showers and facilities and plenty of space for our 7.5 metre motohome. The site is open all year round, weather permitting. Adjacent to the Inn is the chain ferry, shuttling vehicles across the water at a sedate pace. Great place in the round, we enjoyed I!

The vikings social club originated from our world famous and title winning tug of war team. The community teamed together to create what is now our social club for all the village families and residents. a warm welcome is always available.
