Had a lovely Sunday lunch at the Earle Arms. We've eaten there on numerous occasions and can't fault the food. The staff are always very courteous and patient with a disorganised bunch of oldies who can never make their minds up about what to eat or drink ! A delightful country pub in a picturesque village. We will return again soon. Thank you.
Drinks only, no food. Great little pub with lots of old-world character (and taxidermy animals) in a quaint little village. Loved the candlesticks with wax dripping, beautiful.
Quirky but fantastic! Highly recommend the food but be sure to book in advance.
An outstanding local pub, very welcoming and well situated next to the village Green. When I visited there was a local (Fakenham) band playing with the village Green full of people enjoying the music and sunshine. The village is very charming and well worth a visit. There is ample parking in a large car park, following the signs as you enter the village.
Been here twice now for a Sunday roast. First time was nice...nothing amazing but the second time was not nice at all. There was no flavour to anything. The cauliflower cheese, well, was lacking any cheese - tasted like flour and milk. The veg were over cooked and stripped of any natural flavours and the pork crackling wasn’t cooked through, meaning it was chewy and fatty in most parts. We (the 3 of us) doused our food in salt and pepper just to give it something. Was really disappointed. The village is beautiful and worth coming here for that alone. The service was friendly and quick, could not fault that. However if they want to compete with some of the best country pubs for roasts (and I’ve sampled and reviewed lots) then they need to uk their game somewhat.
